PSP30104 Certificate III in Government

This qualification is from the Public Sector Training Package and is generalist, covering entry-level competencies for a career in the public sector, with a particular focus on meeting the ethical and legislative requirements of public service while undertaking a diverse range of work activities which are generalist in nature. Electives should reflect the responsibilities of the individual and the job skills required for effective performance.

Prerequisites: 

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.

Qualification Rules: 

To be awarded this qualification, the student must successfully complete 11 units of competency, 7 Core units, and 4 Elective units.

Accreditation and Articulation: 

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a PSP30104 Certificate III in Government.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Pathways from the Qualification: 

After achieving the PSP30104 Certificate III in Government, students may undertake the PSP40104 Certificate IV in Government, or a range of other Certificate IV qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 

A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
