CHC30502 Certificate III in Employment Services
This qualification is part of the Community Services Training Package. It covers workers who provide a range of services to client and employers aimed at locating, securing and maintaining suitable employment for clients. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.
There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.
Participants achieving this qualification will develop skills and knowledge in:
- Expanding the organisations client base
- Providing candidates with job search support
- Providing candidates with services and addressing issues of candidate retention
- Providing employment management services
- Networking, Identifying sales prospects and providing sales solutions
- Working effectively with a range of clients and organisations

To be awarded this qualification, the student must successfully complete 14 units of competency, 10 Core units, and 4 Elective units.
Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a CHC30502 Certificate III in Employment Services.
This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
After achieving the CHC30502 Certificate III in Employment Services, students may undertake the CHC40502 Certificate IV in Employment Services, or a range of other Certificate IV qualifications.
A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
