CHC30502 Certificate III in Employment Services

This qualification is part of the Community Services Training Package. It covers workers who provide a range of services to client and employers aimed at locating, securing and maintaining suitable employment for clients. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.

Prerequisites: 

There are no prerequisite requirements for individual units of competency.

Course Outcomes: 

Participants achieving this qualification will develop skills and knowledge in:

  • Providing candidates with services and addressing issues of candidate retention
  • Providing employment management services
  • Networking, Identifying sales prospects and providing sales solutions

  • CHCCS1B - Deliver and monitor a service to clients

  • CHCINF2B - Maintain organisation’s information systems
  • CHCOHS301A - Participate in workplace safety procedures
  • CHCORG3B - Participate in the work environment

Qualification Rules: 

To be awarded this qualification, the student must successfully complete 14 units of competency, 10 Core units, and 4 Elective units.

Accreditation and Articulation: 

Upon successful completion of this course students will receive a CHC30502 Certificate III in Employment Services.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

Pathways from the Qualification: 

After achieving the CHC30502 Certificate III in Employment Services, students may undertake the CHC40502 Certificate IV in Employment Services, or a range of other Certificate IV qualifications.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): 

A formal process for recognising skills and knowledge, RPL takes into account previous studies you may have completed as well as life and work experiences. You may be granted credits or exemptions for some units in this course.
